| Some times... no matter how hard we try... we feel unable to love ourselves. During these times, we find it much easier to love other people.... After all... we don't see their weaknesses... they aren't around us 24/7. We don't know their regrets... have to live with their mistakes ... or cope with their pain. We feel overwhelmed during these times and we don’t have enough strength to accept the person we see in the mirror everyday. Maybe we don’t have enough love to love her (or him). We don’t have seem to have enough strength to uplift her... to believe in her when she just couldn't find the strength to believe in herself anymore. It's during these times... we often turn to our Higher Power... to see ourselves through Their eyes. In the eyes of our Higher Power.... there is no judgment, there is only acceptance. . In the eyes of our Higher Power... there is no pain too hard to bear ... no weaknesses too weak to be overcome. Our Higher Power embraces us wholeheartedly... both sustaining us and healing us at the same time.... seeing all our potential...seeing our light ~ when all we can see are shadows. Our Higher Power sees us as this person who falls ... but has the power to get up again and again... sees a person who gets hurt ... but is not hurtful, hard or bitter in reture.... only softer, more resilient to change. Your Higher Power sees you.... cherishes you. loves you more than anyone could ever love you... just as you really are. |
