You're my man, my mighty king,
And I'm the jewel in your crown,
You're the sun so hot and bright,
I'm your light-rays shining down,

You're the sky so vast and blue,
And I'm the white clouds in your chest,
I'm a river clean and pure,
Who in your ocean finds her rest,

You're the mountain huge and high,
I'm the valley green and wide,
You're the body firm and strong,
And I'm a rib bone on your side,

You're an eagle flying high,
I'm your feathers light and brown,
You're my man, my king of kings,
And I'm the jewel in your crown.

Roosevelt had just won his second reelection, and in this speech, he discussed the country’s current state of race
relations and his plan for improving them. In 1905, many white Americans’ attitude of superiority to other races still
lingered. Much bitterness still existed between North and South and, in addition, Roosevelt’s tenure in office had seen
an influx of Asian immigrants in the West, which contributed to new racial tensions. In his argument for racial equality,
Roosevelt used the “rising tide raises all ships” metaphor, stating that if “morality and thrift among the colored men can
be raised” then those same virtues among whites, already assumed to be more advanced, would “rise to an even
higher degree.” At the same time, he warned that “the debasement of the blacks will in the end carry with it [the]
debasement of the whites.”

The story you are about to read is true.
The name(s) may have been changed to protect the
stupid...

Bozo Criminal for today comes from Pensacola, FL. Bozo Jimmy Brown scribbled a note demanding
money on a piece of paper, walked into a liquor store and handed the note to the cashier. Cashier read
the note and handed over all the cash in the drawer. The Bozo headed out the door and was gone,
apparently pulling off the heist without a hitch. Only one problem. That piece of scrap paper the bozo
had written the holdup note on. On the back of it was a letter written to our bozo by his probation
officer complete with the bozo's name and home address.

Today is  yet another chance for us to make progress...
and right now ... is the perfect moment to begin.
When we are not quite sure how to start... we should just get started anyway.
Once we get started... the details will work themselves out.

Each moment that flows quickly into our life...  flows out again ... just as fast.
When we are in that moment... we can transform it into a lasting accomplishment.

Baby steps... make a little bit of progress...again and again.
In time... we easily see we have created great value in our lives...
and in turn.. in our world.

We can do this...
we are alive ... we are aware ... we are willing ... to get where we want to go.
Whatever our situation... whatever our circumstance...
we can make something positive... something valuable from it.

Life is about choices....
Choose now to make progress...  allow a positive momentum to take hold.

Feel the joy of being the immensely creative person that you are!
Nature is ever at work building and pulling down, creating and
destroying, keeping everything whirling and flowing, allowing no rest but
in rhythmical motion, chasing everything in endless song out of one
beautiful form into another.
